British broadcasting company, ITV, has been fined $3000 Australian dollars following an incident on a TV show of theirs.
On the popular British TV show, 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here', second rate celebrities go into the Australian jungle and perform outrageous tasks in exchange for food for their camp mates.
This year's winner, Gino D'Acampo, killed a rat, cooked it and ate it all for the show, something which the Ausralian RSPCA says is against their laws.
Subsequently ITV have apologised, paid the fines and court fees. Bit stupid as its only a rat at the end of the day, plenty of spares in the world.
